10GBASE-XFP TRANSCEIVERS

XFP is a slightly larger form factor than the popular small form-factor pluggable transceiver, SFP and SFP+. XFP modules are hot swappable and support multiple physical layer variants. Principal applications include 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, synchronous optical networking (SONET) at OC-192 rates, synchronous optical networking STM-64, 10 Gbit/s Optical Transport Network (OTN) OTU-2, and parallel optics links. They include digital diagnostics that provide management that were added to the SFF-8472 standard.

10GBASE-SFP+ TRANSCEIVERS

The SFP+ (enhanced small form-factor pluggable) is an enhanced version of the SFP that supports data rates up to 16 Gbit/s. SFP+ supports 8 Gbit/s Fibre Channel, 10 Gigabit Ethernet and Optical Transport Network standard OTU2. 10 Gbit/s SFP+ modules are exactly the same dimensions as regular SFPs, allowing the equipment manufacturer to re-use existing physical designs for 24 and 48-port switches and modular line cards. The SFP+ Form Factor includes digital diagnostics that provide management.

25GBASE-SFP28 TRANSCEIVERS

Small Form-Factor Pluggable Twenty Eight (SFP28) is a 25 Gbit/s interface which evolved from the 100 Gigabit Ethernet interface which is typically implemented with 4 by 25 Gbit/s data lanes. Identical in mechanical dimensions to SFP and SFP+, SFP28 implements one 28 Gbit/s lane accommodating 25 Gbit/s of data with encoding overhead. SFP28 modules exist supporting singlemode or multimode fiber connections. The SFP28 Form Factor includes digital diagnostics that provide management.

40GBASE-QSFP+ TRANSCEIVERS

400GBASE-QSFPDD TRANSCEIVERS

Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable Double Density (QSFP-DD) 400G QSFP-DD transceivers are defined by IEEE 802.3bs Ethernet standard and is an evolution of 100G QSFP28 transceivers. On 400G QSFP-DD 400G Ethernet is achieved with increased data throughput while maintaining the same bandwidth on per channel basis. This is due to 100G QSFP28 using NRZ (Non-Return-to-Zero) encoding and 400G QSFP-DD using PAM4 (Pulse Amplitude Modulation 4 levels) encoding. 400GBASE-OSFP TRANSCEIVERS

Octal Small Form Factor Pluggable (OSFP) a new pluggable form factor with eight high speed electrical lanes that will initially support 400 Gbps (8x50G or 4x100G). OSFP is designed to support the next generation of 800G optics modules that will use eight lanes of 100Gbps, and offers backwards compatibility with 100G QSFP. They are compliant with the OSFP MSA. Digital diagnostics functions are available via the I2C interface, as specified by CMIS. The OSFP Form Factor includes digital diagnostics that provide management.
